Scientific self-image of the chair
The research work can be classified as a problem-oriented research undertaking of construction-oriented business informatics, which understands information systems in companies as an entity embedded in social contexts, empirically accessible only from the participant's perspective, for which the design of information systems and their embedding in networks are critical to success. Since economic design is preceded by an understanding of the impact, design and implementation of information systems, interdisciplinary aspects in research will be addressed in particular.
